Amboise to Montbazon
Going across the little roads to Montbazon we were on dirt for about half a kilometer. Gordon said, “You promised the law said that every farmhouse in France would have a hard surface road to it. This is dirt!”
While stopping for a typical French lunch is a NO, NO. The LaChanceliere restaurant at Montbazon is a must. Small and filled with local businessmen, the oyster raviolis were divine.
Elegant Chateau D’Artigny has become a bus tour stop and they have lost their star.
