Notes:

You can read pounds of articles on its affect on communication. Certainly snail mail and radio/video substitution will change downstream. All the telestuff too. We talk about tele-medicine, tele-science, tele-work and perhaps even tele-government. We can do these today as demos and the network won't support them because of its low bandwidth and inability to be two-way or symmetrical.

Content is the most interesting part. That is, accessing intellectual property. As an avid catalog shopper, I see Internet is the ultimate catalog. And of course catalogs, games, and education will all change.

If you look at CDs, the question is which ones could be in a library instead of our having to own them? Which CDs can we get rid of by direct access?

With more bandwidth, do we need CDs at all?
